WHAT WE GIVE
CHRISTMAS TREE
Once we receive our families, calls are made, and we ask if they are in need of a Christmas Tree. If one is requested, we deliver a tree, tree stand, lights and decorations to families the first Saturday of December. The families then have all that is needed to decorate their tree as a family function.
Household Supply Box
This box includes essentials like a 4-pack of toilet paper, two rolls of paper towels, a pack of napkins, a 32oz bottle of laundry soap, disinfectant wipes, a 4-pack of toothbrushes, toothpaste, two bars of soap, men’s and women’s deodorant, liquid hand soap with a refill, disposable razors, and dish soap.
GIFTS
Each member of the family living in the household will receive wrapped presents for under the tree. We feel that providing gifts for the adults will show the children that we care for the entire family and no one is forgotten. Gifts are delivered approximately two weeks before Christmas.
BIBLE
Each child in the family is given a child’s version of the Bible. We also provide a modern version Bible to the family.
ABOUT US
On December 9, 2023, Secret Families of Blackford County held its annual Christmas event, providing gifts and essential supplies to 12 families, reaching a total of 62 individuals. Additionally, we brought holiday cheer to the residents of Bridgewater Nursing Home and Millers Merry Manor with blankets, socks, and treats for each resident.
